

“Give ’em Shell” is a dynamic group of professional women taking on the challenges of a doctoral degree in Instructional Performance Technology. They come from diverse backgrounds, and their strengths include Atterol’s leadership and IDT expertise, Melinda’s love of solving technical delivery challenges, Susan’s experience in performance improvement in high-stress environments, and Tabithia’s background in higher education and Microbiology.

Susan is the Manager of the Well-Being Program at the Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office and is currently enrolled in the UWF doctoral program for Instructional Performance Technology.
She oversees a wellness initiative that supports more than 4,000 law enforcement, corrections, and civilian employees, as well as evidence-based programs that enhance organizational performance.

Melinda is an Instructional Designer and doctoral student in Instructional Performance Technology at the University of West Florida.
A federal contractor since 2014, she designs targeted training solutions for government agencies by identifying the true needs of her clients. Outside of work, she enjoys long nature hikes with her two dogs.

Tabithia is a Microbiology Instructor at the University of West Florida and is also currently enrolled in the UWF doctoral program in Instructional Performance Technology.
Her creative instructional methods and “out-of-the-box” strategies bring innovative perspectives to the team. *Psst* She is a die-hard Twilight nerd.

Atterol is an ESE Pre-K instructor and graduate assistant in UWF’s IPT doctoral program, with a background in business management. She applies instructional design expertise to enhance learning and support academic initiatives.
Drawing on experience in education and management, she plans to pursue a career in higher education leadership focused on student success and innovation.
